The purpose of each meeting is to present information that will assist all those engaged in exploration drilling in keeping abreast with new techniques and reviewing or perhaps even hearing for the first time old tried and true methods.

43rd Annual Shallow Exploration Drillers Clinic
April 8 – 10, 2008
Best Western Ramkota Inn
Sioux Falls, South Dakota

This clinic is for drillers, roughnecks, geologist, engineers, and officials of governmental and private agencies interested in shallow exploration techniques. Informal presentations will be given covering exploration procedures and related equipment. This is an opportunity for information exchange by those working in the trenches of the geotechnical field.

There will be an inside display of private and commercial drill rigs and related exploration equipment. Also, manufacturers’ representative will be present to answer questions about the latest equipment, services, and drilling methods.

  • Tuesday, April 8, 2007: The National Drilling Association will be hosting a workshop in the afternoon.
  • Wednesday, April 9, 2007: SEDC technical program presentation followed by a social hour.
  • Thursday, April 10, 2007: Conclusion of SEDC technical presentations and wrap up.
